Summary :
A nasal glioma was discovered during routine examination of the nasal cavity patency of a newborn. An excision of the lesion was done by an intranasal approach under general anaesthesia. The intranasal endoscopic approach is strongly recommended for the removal of intranasal gliomas. Angled (30 or 70°) endoscopy allows visualisation of the cribriform plate which helps to rule out an intracranial extension.
